New Member - gregdoyle1 - needs a replacement H25 hatch. From Greg "During the current re-building process the companionway hatch carried away in the big winds we had in Sydney about 7 or 8 weeks ago. So I wondered if anyone still had the moulds to re-make the sliding hatch that is lost forever in Davey Jones locker? Its a +4 Holland that had a major re-build about 15 years ago when we saw it suffering from Osmosis, sure took some drying out! [pGreg's] request is for anyone who could supply a hatch or knows the whereabouts of the moulds so we could make one (Insurance job). Or..if anyone lives in Sydney or nearby and can loan me the hatch to make a new mould that would work, I'd only need it for 3-4 days and would be happy to collect the sample, leave a cash deposit as security if needed and bring it back without delay shortly after. I lived for 27 years in Avalon/Clareville and have been in our present house for 3 years, so I'm not going to take off with anybody's property and we run our business from the same address. My hatch is one piece and slides forward and back in aluminium tracks secured to the deck. Edge on the ends that fit onto the track are L shaped and moulded about 1/8th thick to slide in a track about 1/2" wide. The track ends are bent down so the hatch can't go past either ends of the track and fall out. The hatch top is curved and is finished so it makes the same profile as the deck. Where the hatch slides over the deck is flat & without anti skid. Cheers. Greg" Can anyone help Greg? Greg, post some other pics to assist. Attachments:

We had a similar problem with our hatch. We weren't able to find a mould anywhere. Cammeray Marina ended up making a new hatch for us and perspex doorway. They did and excellent job. They may have had to make up a mould for ours, you could check if they still have it.
